Parasites are AWESOME.

So early in the afternoon me and Grace were just playing cards in the common area to pass time before checking back in. Yes, already we were having to change rooms. I didn't even take a pic of the room we were in last night. It was basically the same as the other just smaller and had a queen bed & a frig those were about the only differences.

Since the only activity on today's list was going to Parasite Museum & Grace didn't want to see it, I went alone about 2pm. Luckily Grace gave me a heavy duty band aide because my poor toe (to let you know it stayed on all day!). I headed out on the JR (Japan Rail) and got to my stop. It was quite a few blocks down the road. On the way there I stopped at a drug store that supposedly sells tickets to the ghibli museum and it looks like they are sold out already for the day that I was gonna go...well win some, lose some. I guess it will be ok. I have faith that it will still be here when I return, yes return.

I then walked a little further and got to the Parasite Museum. Unfortunately nothing was really in English so I just got to look at the displays and the ones that had scientific names on their plaques. It was pretty interesting even without knowing too much about what was there. I took some pics and bought 2 postcards and a little souvenir. It is way neat that I have now been to the only parasite museum in the world and seen the longest tape worm on record, plus taken pictures of it.

Since I was on my own I decided to take the long way home on the JR line, that way I can say I have been to all the stops, yeah I know horribly interesting, eh? Oh the pains of the everyday, stopping to get money, coupled by stopping at a place that sells cds (catch my trend).

PS. KIM: since I really didn't do much today I figured it qualified that Lisa would be proud that I went out on my own during a "sunny" day and that would be considered somethign she would like. (aka book activity: find something our sunny lovin' Lisa would like)
